What is Mica?
It's mica. It’s a stone. It’s a mineral. No one can be allergic to it, unless you are allergic to rocks and air. It is the most pure and natural form of cosmetics that exist. It is the pigment or coloring agent that is used to color all cosmetic products. Every eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, bronzer, lipstick, nail polish, highlighter and temporary hair color use it. It’s what the best cosmetic companies use to color all of their cosmetics. Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique, Chanel, MAC, Covergirl and Mabelline all use it.
All makeup is one thing, color pigment until you add chemicals to it. True Colors makeup does not contain any talc, oils, waxes or other cheap chemicals.
Will it last?
Because we don’t use any fillers, it will stay on all day. It will never fade, run or crease. The reason makeup cakes-up or gets in the creases of you eyes is the mixture of talc and oil. We use neither talk nor oil, so it never cakes or creases.
Talc, oils, waxes and other fillers normally sell for fifty cents a pound. Mica pigments cost hundreds or thousands of dollars per pound. That is why other companies use a lot of talc, oils and other fillers and only a little pigment. We use only 100% mica pigment. One pot of our mica makeup has enough pigment that other cosmetic companies will mix enough additives into to make hundreds of dollars.
Instructions
Eye Shadow:
Use any of the TRUE COLORS Original as eye shadow. Simply use a sponge applicator or brush and lightly touch it to the desired color, then apply it to your eyelid. Choose a lighter color as a highlighter to apply above. For a more dramatic matte look, use a damp applicator.
Blush:
Use a blush brush and lightly touch the tip into the desired color and apply along the cheekbone. For a more dramatic and matte look, apply with a damp makeup sponge.
Eye Liner:
Use a thin eyeliner brush, dampen and lightly touch it to the desired color. Apply under your lower eyelashes and/or over your upper eyelashes.
Lip Color:
First apply TRUE COLORS Original Clear Lipstick Base. Then, using a lip brush, dip it into the desired color and apply to the lips.
Nail Polish:
Using clear nail polish, dip brush into the polish, then into the desired color powder, and paint on nails. Polish may also be mixed in a separate container for larger batches. Do the above with existing colored nail polish to change
its shade.
Bronzer:
Put a dab of your favorite lotion (or even suntan lotion) in the palm of your hand. Mix a small amount of Mica Pigment Powder #9 (or mix your own colors) in with the lotion. Rub on exposed areas.
Body Shimmer/Highlighter:
TRUE COLORS Original makes a wonderful body and hair highlighter. Using a blush brush, dip into the desired color and spread a light coating of powder over the shoulders and chest for a beautiful shimmer glow. For hair, use your blush brush and dip into the desired color, then apply a streak of color. Finish with hairspray.
